May Calendar
On Tuesday, May 1, 2012, Meigs student, Sabastian Moore, was recognized by a Shalimar community member for his contributions and community service to the area. Ms. Elaine Ridge, longtime Shalimar resident, noted over the course of many days that Sabastian would pick up litter as he walked along his route to school each day. She witnessed these selfless acts on many occasions and was so struck by the gracious actions of this Wildcat that she decided to present him with a $100 check in appreciation. Thanks to Ms. Ridge for recognizing this student and thank you Sabastian for your willingness to "do the right thing!" Way to represent Meigs Middle School!
