FARS

The Okaloosa County School District has elected to use a new company to recover returned checks.  No longer will the district or school staff arrange for the repayment of checks returned for non-sufficent funds.  FARS (Federal Automated Recovery Systems) will be responsible for the electronic collection of non-suffient fund checks turned in to any school or district account.

The District will gladly accept your checks.  When you provide a check as payment, you authorize FARS to either use information for the check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction.  You also authorize FARS to collect a fee through an electronic fund transfer from your account if your payment is returned unpaid.

Please includethe following on your check.

  • Full Name
  • Street Address
  • Phone Numbers
